6-hr course: Thursdays Jan. 9, 16, 23, 30. 6:30 - 8:00pm (EST). $595* per person If taking course for college credit or MA PDPs, the 12-hr course will meet an additional 1.5 hours each day from 8:00 - 9:30pm EST. Based on the bestselling book, Intentional Moves, this popular 4-session virtual course deep dives into key concepts and moves for any district leader, administrator, instructional coach or teacher leader who leads a team or PD. All levels of experience welcome! By the end of this course you will: ~ learn key concepts to lead collaboration effectively ~ gain insight into your own leadership of adult learners ~ gain moves & resources to fuel the collaborative learning you lead ~ learn how to navigate the book so that you find what you need ~ network with like-minded team leaders. Session 1: Skillfully lead groups of adult learners. Delve into key concepts of Skillful Intentional Leadership such as the 4 types of teams, essential understandings about leading groups of adult learners, and setting primary intentions. Gain insight into your own leadership approach. Session 2: Nurture a culture of psychological safety. Learn research behind what makes a highly effective team and moves to foster a culture where people feel safe taking learning risks. Session 3: Lead purposeful collaboration. Design and plan for collaborative learning that advances student outcomes. Gain tools for crafting powerful learning goals, inquiry questions, and agendas. Session 4: Be a catalyst for change & equity. Tackle resistance to change, learn to suspend assumptions and advance equity work. *Syllabus available upon request. Cancellation Policy
No full or partial refunds given if a client cancels or partially attends the service. If the service provider (Elisa MacDonald) cancels a service date, the service date will be rescheduled. If the client cannot attend the rescheduled service date, alternate arrangements will be made with Elisa MacDonald.
